Taking the reflection of an irregular mirror (I imagine its surface being polished obsidian or jade) crowned by a dark Bodhisatva as a point of departure, Ancient Mirror reflects an abstracted landscape with echoes of the shan-shui tradition I keep learning from. A Mayan lord or “ahau” sits below the mirror.
